Peter Krokondelas: Vice-President
Peter Krokondelas joined Kasirer Consulting as Vice-President bringing with him over two decades of government, events management and campaign experience. Peter previously served as a Senior Account Executive at Geto & de Milly, where he was responsible for managing a number of the firm’s high profile clients including Taconic Investment Partners (Coney Island), East River Realty (former Con Ed site) and Community Preservation Corporation (New Domino).
His political and government service has spanned the five boroughs of New York City including on-the-ground work in nearly all of its unique and diverse ethnic neighborhoods. Peter specializes in crafting targeted community outreach programs calling on his extensive background working at the grassroots level.
Peter played a key role in shaping government affairs strategies for many Geto & de Milly clients. He also served as liaison to organized labor, regularly negotiating on behalf of clients with union leaders from the building and construction trades, the health care industry, and retail and hotel sectors. Peter has managed and coordinated a number of major public policy issues campaigns that involved building large coalitions for organizations including The Property Casualty Insurers of America, The Business Roundtable, THE OUT NYC and many labor unions.
Peter began his career in public service in 1989 at the Office of The Bronx Borough President, where he served as Special Assistant to then Borough President Fernando Ferrer. He managed special projects there and advised local community organizations on obtaining City funding and helped coordinate press relations. In 1999, Peter became Vice-President of Operations at The Advance Group, a NYC-based political consulting firm, where he helped elect candidates to at all levels of city, state and federal government. In 2006, he helped coordinate events for the gubernatorial campaign of Eliot Spitzer.
