Suri Kasirer: President
Suri Kasirer is the founder and president of the New York based consulting firm, which bears her name. Kasirer Consulting, LLC specializes in government relations, public affairs and strategic consulting. For more than a decade Suri has led her firm, which ranked number one among the top lobbying firms in New York City for the past few years.
A native New Yorker and graduate of Yeshiva University, Suri is active in political, cultural and social activities here in New York and across the country. Suri serves on the Board of Directors of the New York League of Conservation Voters; Citymeals-on-Wheels; Big Brothers Big Sisters; National Jewish Democratic Council; Business Council of the New York State Democratic Committee; Women’s Leadership Forum; Coro New York; and the Ansonia Democratic Club.
Suri has been named one of the 50 Most Powerful Women in New York by Crain’s New York Business for the second year in a row and recognized as a “Rising Star” by Campaign & Elections magazine. Suri has been honored by the National Organization of Women (NY Chapter) and by various other charitable organizations.
After working as an educator and running a national outreach organization, Suri joined the executive staff of former New York State Governor Mario Cuomo, as his special assistant. After serving in State government, Suri established her consulting practice that today represents a broad spectrum of non-profits, political figures, cultural groups, and private businesses.
